SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Basketball cruised to its 18th win of the season with a 75-55 home victory Friday night over Colorado College.
At Jim Shuler Court in Memorial Gymnasium, TLU improved to 18-5 overall and to 10-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Colorado College dropped to 2-21 overall and to 1-11 in the SCAC.
TLU senior forward
Kristen Lye (San Antonio/Clark) recorded her 13th double-double of the season in just 21 minutes of action. Lye scored 16 and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Bryanna Delgado (Port Lavaca/Calhoun) and
Kasey Hairell (Hallettsville/Hallettsville) added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
TLU out-rebounded Colorado 43-37. The Tigers committed 29 turnovers and shot just 31.3 percent from the floor.
Jordan Meltzer led the Tigers with 17 points. Payton Katish contributed 10 points.
TLU returns to Jim Shuler Court for a 4 p.m. Saturday matchup with University of Dallas.
