ABILENE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran point guard
Nathan Josephs (San Antonio/Clark/Texas State) drained a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Bulldogs to a 79-76 road win over Hardin-Simmons.
At HSU's Mabee Complex, Josephs' heave broke a late tie. HSU knotted the game at 76 with five seconds to play with an offensive rebound and a put-back layup.
The Bulldogs swept the season non-conference series with HSU and improved to 3-4 overall. The Cowboys dropped to 3-6 overall.
Joseph's three-pointer was his only three of the game. He finished with a game-high 21 points. He added five rebounds and three assists.
Sebastian Andrade (El Paso/Americas) came off the Bulldog bench to chip in 16 points and six rebounds.

Matthew Gillette (Spring/Klein) pulled down 12 rebounds and scored six.
Alex Cage (Austin/McNeil) scored 11 and had six rebounds, and
Cameron DeHart (Fort Collins, Colo./Fossil Ridge) registered seven points and seven rebounds.
TLU out-rebounded HSU 41-24. The Bulldogs shot 61.9 percent and hit four out of eight three-pointers in the second half.
The Bulldogs' next game is scheduled for Dec. 19 at home against Howard Payne. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. The contest is part of the four-game Bulldog Classic that TLU will host on Dec. 19 and 20. The Classic involves TLU, Howard Payne, Sul Ross State, and Schreiner.
