COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --
Cierra Jordan scored a career-high 21 points to lead the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs to a 66-48 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win Friday night against Colorado College.
Jordan, a senior from Llano (Llano), made a career-best nine field goals. She went 9-for-16 from the field and 3-for-5 from the three-point line.
Jordan added 10 rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist.
TLU improved to 9-3 overall and to 1-0 in the SCAC. Colorado College dropped to 2-11 overall and to 1-1 in the SCAC.
TLU held Colorado College to 29.3 percent shooting for the game. The Tigers went 17-for-58 from the field and 6-for-17 from the three-point line.
Savannah Hight (San Antonio/Brandeis) chipped in 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals for the Bulldogs.
Kasey Hairell (Hallettsville/Hallettsville) scored 11 and had five rebounds, and
Kristen Lye (San Antonio/Clark) contributed seven points and eight rebounds.
