Texas Lutheran Volleyball tallies losses to No. 7 Southwestern, Trinity

 
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Texas Lutheran dropped a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matches Saturday at the SCAC Divisional, hosted by Trinity University.

TLU fell in three to No. 7 Southwestern, 25-17, 25-18, 25-15 and took a four-set loss to host Trinity, 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 25-21.
 
Against Southwestern, Kristin Fording posted 10 kills, and Bryten Mitchan and Mackenzie Zamarripa each added five. Fording and Mathis Popelsky each picked up 15 digs, and Fording registered five blocks.
 
In the loss to Trinity, Fording tallied 16 kills, and Mitchan collected 11. Carlie Childres recorded three blocks, and Popelsky added 23 digs.
 
TLU's overall record is now 7-4 with a conference mark of 1-2.
