IRVING, Texas -- Third-ranked Texas Lutheran Softball rolled to 21-1 and 15-4 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference road wins Friday at the University of Dallas.
The Bulldogs improved to 31-2 overall and to 17-1 in the SCAC.
Dallas dropped to 16-16 overall and to 11-7 in the SCAC.
TLU collected 35 total hits in the doubleheader.
Heather Hummel extended her school records for single-season home runs and career home runs with a grand slam in the early game. Hummel hit her eighth of the season and the 15th of her career.
Taylor Yancey belted a two-run shot in the early game.
Hummel and Yancey each drove in four in the 21-1 win. Yancey went 2-for-2 with three runs scored, and Hummel went 3-for-3 with three runs scored.
Jennifer Gallagher had a two-run triple and picked up three RBI.
Taylor Grissom was the winning pitcher in the first game. The senior right-hander improved to 12-0. She retired all nine batters she faced.
The Bulldogs had a perfect game going into the fifth inning.
In game two, TLU erupted for four runs in the second, three in the fourth, two in the fifth and six in the sixth.
Kaymee Gooden delivered a three-run triple in the sixth. She drove in five and went 3-for-4.

Kirsten Whiteside each registered two RBI.
Nicole Snow and Gooden each scored three runs.
Amanda Lochte notched the pitching win. Lochte improved to 10-1.
Veny Pizana tossed the final 1-1/3 innings. She allowed just one hit.
TLU and Dallas play a second SCAC doubleheader Saturday in Irving. First pitch for game one is set for 1 p.m. at Crusader Field.
