SHERMAN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Softball completed a four-game sweep of Austin College and stretched its unbeaten streak in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular-season games to 38 with 10-1 and 9-0 run-rule victories Saturday afternoon.
At Sherman's Old Settlers Park, Bulldog pitching surrendered just seven hits all day, and the Bulldog bats collected a combined 23 hits.
Heather Hummel homered and drove in three in the first game.

Jennifer Gallagher and
Taylor Yancey each drove in a pair of runs.
Grace Estes,
Kirsten Whiteside and Yancey each scored a pair of runs.
Samantha Yenne went the distance for TLU in game one to earn her first win of the season. The junior right-hander struck out two, walked two and allowed just one earned run.
In game two,
Kali Tyler went 2-for-3 with three RBI, and Hummel and Gallagher each knocked home two more runs. Gallagher had a two-run double in the fourth. Hummel had a two-run double in the fifth.
Veny Pizana (2-0) picked up the win in relief. Pizana worked 2-2/3 innings, struck out one and walked one.
The Bulldogs' next doubleheader is scheduled for Tuesday against the College of Staten Island (N.Y.). First pitch is set for 5 p.m. at TLU's Ed Kruse Stadium - Morck Softball Field.
