AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran dropped a 5-1 decision Wednesday night at Concordia Texas University.
At Concordia's Tornado Field, the Bulldogs fell behind 3-1 after three innings. All three runs scored by the Tornados came home as a result of Bulldog fielding errors in the outfield.
TLU dropped to 2-2 with the non-conference loss. Concordia improved to 2-3.

Justin Law went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.
Entering the sixth, Bulldog pitching allowed only one hit and no earned runs.
Concordia scratched across two runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the 5-1 lead.
Josh Smith picked up the win for the Tornados. Lane Hobbs worked the final four innings for the save. Hobbs struck out eight and allowed just one hit and two walks.
TLU returns to Seguin for its home-opening, three-game series with Hardin-Simmons. Game one of the series is set for a 7 p.m. start Friday. A Saturday doubleheader between the Bulldogs and Cowboys is set for a 1 p.m. start.
