GEORGETOWN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran dropped to 2-2 overall with a 67-53 non-conference neutral site loss to Concordia Texas on Saturday.

At Southwestern University, the Tornados out-scored the Bulldogs 30-21 in the second half after holding a 37-32 lead at the break.

Concordia (3-1) received 21 points and six rebounds from Mercedes Ellison and 12 points and five rebounds from Emily Cullers.

The Tornados held TLU to 16.2 percent shooting in the fourth quarter and to 35.1 percent for the game.

The Bulldogs were 2-for-17 from the three-point line. In the second half, TLU went 0-for-9.

Kristen Lye paced TLU with 14 points and nine rebounds. Savannah Hight chipped in eight points, and Madison Ray recorded seven points and four rebounds.

The Bulldogs play again 2 p.m. Sunday against East Texas Baptist. The game will be played at Southwestern University in Georgetown.
