KERRVILLE, Texas â€" Texas Lutheran ran its Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference record to a perfect 5-0 with a convincing 69-46 road win Saturday against Schreiner University.

The Bulldogs, the defending SCAC Champions (tournament and co-regular season), improved to 13-3 overall with their sixth consecutive win.

Schreiner fell to 7-8 overall and to 1-3 in the SCAC.

TLU held Schreiner to 34.8 percent shooting overall and to 18.8 percent from the three-point line.

The Bulldogs shot 44.2 percent overall, 36.4 percent from the three-point line and 88.2 percent from the foul line.

TLU led by as many as 28 points in the second half.

Five Bulldogs scored in double figures, led by
Sterling Holmes, who scored 14. He added two assists and two rebounds.

Zach Behr and
Jordan Kouremetis added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Harris Jowell and
Matthew Gillette each contributed 10 points.

Jowell grabbed six rebounds, and Behr delivered four assists.

TLU continues SCAC play next weekend with a pair of games in Seguin against Colorado College (6 p.m. Friday) and Centenary College (4 p.m. Saturday).
