TLU Women's Soccer remains undefeated with 6-0 road win over Centenary (La.)

SHREVEPORT, La. -- Texas Lutheran Women's Soccer remained undefeated in 2015 after a 6-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over Centenary (La.) at Mayo Field.

The Bulldogs improved to 5-0-1 overall and to 1-0-1 in the SCAC. Centenary dropped to 1-5 overall and to 0-2 in the SCAC.

TLU senior forward Sioned Kirkpatrick scored two goals in the first 16 minutes. She scored on a penalty kick and then scored unassisted with a shot in the box at the 15:37 mark. The goals were Kirkpatrick's fourth and fifth of the season.

TLU added goals from Leslie Flores, Kyndall Ramirez, Tara Armstrong and Megan Larsen. Ramirez, Flores and Jessica Gonzales each notched assists.

The Bulldogs scored four goals in the first half. TLU's shot advantage was 35-9. Shots on goal favored TLU 19-6.

TLU continues its SCAC road trip with a noon Sunday match in Sherman, Texas against Austin College.
