SAN ANTONIO -- Texas Lutheran delivered a four-set win over Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday morning at the Trinity Fall Classic.
At Trinity's Webster Gymnasium, TLU moved to 12-3 non-conference victory. NWU fell to 5-11 overall.
Brette Threadgill led TLU with 20 kills. Threadgill hit .415 on 41 attempts. She made just three errors.
Kristin Fording added 18 kills on 49 attempts. She made just two errors and hit .327. Fording added 20 digs and two aces.
The Bulldogs tallied 91 total digs and six total blocks.
Megan Dugie, the senior libero, paced TLU in digs, with 21.
Cadie Mae Vanecek added 17.
Carlie Childres contibuted four total blocks, two block solos and two block assists.
Sophomore setter
Kelcie Ingram dished out 31 assists and added 13 digs and two aces. Fellow setter
Kaci Pecht contributed 13 assists.
TLU stayed on the Webster Gymnasium court to play Our Lady of the Lake immediately following the win over Nebraska Wesleyan.
