SEGUIN, Texas -- No. 1-ranked Trinity broke open a 1-0 halftime lead with three second-half goals in a 4-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win Friday over Texas Lutheran.
At TLU's Gustafson Field, Kim Polasek gave the Tigers a quick 1-0 lead in the eighth minute with an unassisted goal from about 25 yards.
Julia Camp, Abby Tisdale, and Allison Carter added second-half goals for the Tigers, who improved to 15-0-1 overall and to 10-0 in the SCAC.
Colleen Markey, Yasmeen Farra and Chelsea Cole each registered assists for Trinity.
TLU fell to 10-3-2 with the home loss. The Bulldogs are now 5-3-2 in the SCAC.
The Bulldogs were out-shot 40-1.
TLU returns to action at noon Sunday against Schreiner.
