SEGUIN â€" The Texas Lutheran women's soccer squad held No. 3 Trinity without a goal for a half, but eventually lost 5-0 on Friday afternoon at Gustafson Field.

The Bulldogs came into the game riding a four-game unbeaten streak and continued that strong play in the first half, holding the highest scoring offense in the country without a goal in the first 45 minutes.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, Trinity got its offense going in the second half, scoring four goals in the half's first 21 minutes to pull away.

The loss snapped the Bulldogs' aforementioned four-game unbeaten streak and dropped them to 9-6-1 (6-3-1 SCAC) on the season.

Trinity got a huge help off the bench from Endaisia Love, who scored four goals in the game including the first three.

The Bulldogs were held to just one shot on the day as Tiger goalkeeper Devan Osegueda was never called upon to make a save.

Erin Rose (San Antonio, Texas) was great in the first half, making five saves. The freshman was a big reason for keeping the Tigers off the scoreboard in the first half. She made eight saves on the day before being substituted in the 65th minute.

Devin Crump (Texas City, Texas) played the rest of the game in net for the Bulldogs, making three saves and allowing two goals.

Jennifer Kopetic (Round Rock, Texas) was the only Bulldog to tally a shot in the game.

Texas Lutheran will wrap up its home regular season schedule on Sunday with Senior Day against Southwestern. Kickoff is set for noon at Gustafson Field.
