Biography

2021: Shannon Perez (Laguna Vista/Hanna) is a sophomore defender for Texas Lutheran.

2020-21: Played in two games and made one start in her freshman season for TLU. Recorded her only start against NCAA Division II St. Mary's in San Antonio on March 14, 2021. Made her Bulldog debut against the University Dallas one week earlier in Irving, when TLU defeated Dallas with a final score of 3-2.

Perez is a 2020 graduate of Hanna High School and played for Coach Eliseo Guzman. She was in the Top 5% of her class all four years of high school. Was a two-time district champion in cross country. Participated in National HOSA her last three years of high school.

Personal: Her parents are Noe and Diane Perez. Has two broters, Cody and Ethan. Perez is a chemistry major and a history minor.
