Krystal Schneider

Krystal Schneider enters her 13th season as an assistant coach with the Bulldogs, previously serving for eight years under coach Mel Dixon. During her tenure, she has been a part of three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championships (2014, 2019, 2025) and three SCAC Regular Season Co-Championships (2014, 2015, 2025).

2024-25 was a historic season for the Bulldogs as they won 24 games to set a program record for wins in TLU Women's Basketball history. Texas Lutheran advanced to the Round of 32 for the first time program history, won the SCAC regular season championship for the first time in a decade, and won their third SCAC Tournament Championship. Kailee Mulkey earned WBCA All-America honorable mention honors and five Bulldogs earned All-SCAC honors.

The Bulldogs have made three appearances in the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships during Schneider's tenure (first round appearances in 2014 and 2019, and first and second round appearances in 2025).

Schneider came to Texas Lutheran after three years at Texas A&M - Kingsville, where she served as a graduate assistant for women's basketball under Head Coach Michael Trujillo. During her time at Texas A&M - College Station, she served as a student manager, intern and student worker for the women's basketball program. 

Schneider earned her bachelor's degree in sports management from Texas A&M in 2010 and her master's degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M - Kingsville in 2012.
