Sidelined a majority of the season following an early season knee injury, relegating her to primarily contribute as a pinch hitter late in the season...Finished with 7.0 innings pitched over two starts with 11 strikeouts…Held a 0.00 ERA prior to injury…combined for two shutouts… Finished with a 2-0 record in the circle, allowing opponents to bat .269 with no extra-base hits or walks allowed…Joy had a stellar debut week for the Bulldogs, tossing seven shutout innings and striking out a league-high 11 batters while picking up two wins in the circle. After striking out five and walking none over the course of four shutout innings against Texas A&M - San Antonio, Joy followed with six strikeouts over three shutout innings against Howard Payne to earn SCAC Pitcher of the Week for Opening Weekend (2/10)…Contributed at the plate and as a designated player and pinch hitter, batting .231 in 13 at-bats, registering three hits, a double, and two RBI...helped herself offensively with a double, three walks, and three RBIs at the plate over Opening Weekend.
