2023 (Senior)
Started 40 games at second base... Named Second Team All-SCAC...Led Texas Lutheran in at-bats (165)...Finished second on the team in batting average (.333), hits (55), and doubles (7)...Was third on the team in runs (35), extra base hits (8), and total bases (64)...committed seven errors in 157 total chances at second base (.955 FLD%)...had two eight game hitting streaks...scored the winning run in the regular season finale against Southwestern to clinch the 2023 SCAC Regular Season Championship (4/30)...went 7-for-18 (.388) with two doubles and two RBIs to earn SCAC Championship All-Tournament Team Honors.
2022 (Junior)
Played in 40 games for the Bulldogs...hitting .318 (47-for-148) with 29 runs, 11 doubles, four triples, two home runs, 28 RBI, and 10 walks...finished the year leading the team in doubles (11) and triples (4)...committed four errors in 176 total chances at second base (.977 FLD%)...earned a spot on the 2022 All-SCAC second team as a second baseman...hit his first career home run in Texas Lutheran's 25-3 victory over Southwestern (3/26)...named to SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll for first time in his career.
2021 (Sophomore)
Vasquez was a member of the 2021 SCAC Championship team that advanced to the NCAA Division III Baseball Wisconsin-Whitewater Regional. He had two hits in three at-bats (.667) as a freshman, recorded one triple, and had four RBI. Had an on-base percentage of (.667) and slugged (1.333) . Was perfect as on the year as a defender, as he was successful on all four defensive chances at second base.
2020 (Freshman)
Vasquez was added to the varsity roster mid-season, but not did see any game action in the COVID shortened-season.
High School
Vasquez played for Eric Jupe at Brandeis High School in San Antonio, Texas....He was named First Team All-District his junior and senior seasons, Offensive MVP as a junior and was an All-Area Super-Team selection his junior year.
