SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's soccer senior Carson Alldredge (Spring/Klein) has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday.

Alldredge was crucial in TLU's 1-0-1 weekend that included a 6-0 clean sheet against Hendrix.

The TLU captain and Spring native captained a TLU backline that allowed 13 shots on the weekend with only six being on target. The Bulldogs have tallied six clean sheets on the season.

The award is Alldredge's first SCAC weekly award while it is the Bulldogs second weekly award of the season.

Texas Lutheran will be back on the pitch, Friday, Oct. 30, to take on University of Dallas at Gustafson Field. The match is scheduled for 5 PM with the match acting as Senior Day for the Bulldogs as they will recognize four seniors. The match will be broadcast on FloCollege. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
