SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis dropped their season opening home match to Division-I opponent, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Wednesday afternoon, 7-0, at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.

In doubles competition, the team of Cash Herrera (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) and Eric Moninger (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) fought to a 5-7 conclusion.

Herrera and Kadon Sullins (Kyle/Lehman) both lost their singles matches 2-6, 1-6 respectively.

Up next, Texas Lutheran opens SCAC conference play as they travel to Austin to face the Concordia University Tornados on Saturday, Feb. 7. First serve is set for 2 PM.
