LONGVIEW, Texas -- Texas Lutheran dropped Friday night's contest at LeTourneau, 95-67, at Solheim Arena in Longview, Texas.

Senior Mason Wallace (San Antonio/Judson) led the Bulldogs with 23 points. Teddy Tapken (Austin/Lake Travis) tallied his second double-double of the season with 11 points and a season-high 13 rebounds. Jediah Chavarin-Rivens (Weslaco/Weslaco East) was the final Bulldog in double figures, finishing with a season-high ten points off the bench.

The two teams would start the first half in a back and forth battle before a 31-12 run gave LeTourneau a 38-18 lead with 1:30 remaining. The YellowJackets led by as many as 22 points in the first half and carried a 40-20 lead into the halftime break.

The YellowJackets would never relinquish the lead from that point forward leading by as many as 31 points, ending the night with a 95-67 tally.

TLU's road trip has been cut short due to winter weather causing Saturday's game against Centenary to be postponed thus the Bulldogs will return to Seguin to continue their conference home slate on Friday, January 30 against 7th-ranked St. Thomas at Memorial Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM.
