Men's Tennis Falls to No. 72 Colorado College in SCAC Quarterfinals

WACO, Texas -- The number six-seed Texas Lutheran men's tennis team fell to No. 72-ranked and third-seeded Colorado College, 4-0, on Friday during SCAC quarterfinal action at Waco Regional Tennis and Fitness Center in Waco.

With the loss, the Bulldogs finish their season with an 8-4 record, the best finish since 2017's 9-8 season and is the program's highest winning percentage (.667) since joining the SCAC in 2014.

Texas Lutheran was swept in doubles play as the ranked Tigers earned the doubles point. The team of Logan Randall (Idalou/Idalou) and Rev Wicks (Portland/Gregory-Portland) was ahead in their doubles match 4-2 before their match was finished early due to the Tigers clinching the point.

The Tigers would clinch their spot in the SCAC semifinals with three singles wins in the number two, five and six positions.
