GEORGETOWN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis dropped their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) opener to Southwestern Saturday afternoon, 7-0, at the Henderson Courts in Georgetown.

The Bulldogs were swept in women's doubles and singles competition.

In doubles competition, the team of Lucero Alvarado (San Antonio/Southwest) and Serenity Cabrera (San Antonio/New Braunfels) fought to a 4-6 conclusion.

Up next, Texas Lutheran continues their month long road trip as they travel to LeTourneau on Friday, Feb. 14.
