SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran beat Lycoming College 82-67 Tuesday afternoon at Memorial Gymnasium in the team's final non-conference outing this season.

Isaac Orozco (Helotes/O'Connor) hit five three-pointers on his way to a career-high 17 points. Orozco was 5-of-6 from beyond the arc and finished 6-of-7 from the field while adding five rebounds and four assists.

Semaj Edwards (Lanham, MD/Oak Hill) had a team-high 18 points and Mason Wallace (San Antonio/Judson) added 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

The Bulldogs found an offensive rhythm on Tuesday, making 30-of-62 (48.4 percent) from the floor, including a scorching 21-of-34 (61.8 percent) in the first half.

Semaj Edwards scored the Bulldogs first seven points before the Warriors tied the game 7-7.

A Mason Wallace layup and back-to-back baskets from Teddy Tapken (Austin/Lake Travis) gave the Bulldogs the lead back. With the Bulldogs leading 18-16, the Bulldogs would go on a 21-0 run over four minutes to take a 39-16 lead.

The Bulldogs finished the first half, which saw them lead by as many as 29 points, with an Orozco three that gave TLU a 53-24 halftime advantage.

Wallace scored the first points of the second half to give TLU a 31-point lead, the largest lead of the day. The two teams would trade baskets early before the Warriors would start to chip away at the TLU lead. Lycoming fought back to get the TLU lead to as low as 15 points with 58 seconds remaining as the Bulldogs settled for the double-digit win. All active members of the Bulldogs roster played for at least one minute on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs return to action on New Year's Day, visiting Concordia (TX) for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) opener. Tip-off is set for 2 PM. The game will be streamed on FloCollege. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
