SEGUIN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran Men's Soccer team (8-4-2, 6-1-1 SCAC) earned a clean sheet on Senior Day with a 2-0 win over Schreiner Sunday evening at Gustafson Field.

The Bulldogs went in front in the 19th minute as Raymond Palmer (San Antonio/Clark) found the back of the net on a Max Guzman (San Marcos/San Marcos) assist to put Texas Lutheran up 1-0. The tally marked Palmer's third goal of the season on Guzman's fourth assist.

Jayden Franke (San Antonio/Johnson) doubled the lead in the second half on his first goal of the campaign, striking in the 72nd minute to make it 2-0 on an assist from Elijah Lopez (North Richland Hills/Richland).

TLU stayed on the attack throughout with nine goals in each half, finishing with a 20-4 advantage in total shots and a 10-0 edge in corners.

Ernesto Avila (Houston/Humble) anchored the back line and earned his second straight clean sheet, making one save.

Following the match, the Bulldogs honored its 11-member senior class in postgame Senior Day festivities.

The Bulldogs return to Gustafson Field on Friday, Oct. 24 against Centenary for their final home game of the 2025 season. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 7 PM with the match being streamed on FloCollege. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
