SHREVEPORT, LA -- Texas Lutheran dropped Sunday's contest at Centenary, 72-51, at the Gold Dome in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mason Green (San Marcos/San Marcos) scored 14 points and seven rebounds to lead the way for the Bulldogs.
A Green free throw followed by a second chance basket from Green the following possession would give Texas Lutheran a 3-2 lead, their only lead of the game, as Centenary would regain the lead with 15:19 remaining in the half and never give up the lead - outscoring the Bulldogs 29-16 for the remainder of the half. The Gents led by 13 at halftime and by as many as 24 points - closing with the final 72-51 tally.
