SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis was swept by the No. 7 Southwestern Pirates in a Friday doubleheader - losing both matches 9-0 Friday afternoon at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs were swept in doubles competition in both matches. The team of Dristan Weaver (Schertz/Clemens) and Aaron Salinas (Kerrville/Tivy) and Quinn Johnson (Appleton, Wis./ Kimberly) and Rien Solis (New Braunfels/Canyon) were able to push their matches to 8-2 finishes in the 1 PM slate.

Men's tennis would drop all twelve singles matches in the Friday doubleheader.

Up next, Texas Lutheran welcomes the Sul Ross State Lobos to the Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center on Thursday, April 21 for a non-conference match. First serve is set for 4 PM.
