SHERMAN, Texas -- At Old Settlers Park in Sherman, fourth-ranked Texas Lutheran scored an 11-0 win in five innings and an 8-4 victory in seven innings Friday evening over Austin College.
TLU improved to 13-4 overall and to 5-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Austin College fell to 2-8 overall and to 1-6 in the SCAC.
In the early game, TLU jumped out to a 4-0 lead with a four-run first inning.

Skylar Ouellette each had RBI doubles in the first.
Snow was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Ouellette was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI.
Chassey Raines had a pair of hits and scored two runs, and Jurden went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI, and two steals. Chatham also had a pair of stolen bases.
Hernandez went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored.
Ashlyn Strother tossed a two-hit shutout. She struck out 10 and walked one. Strother improved to 5-1 overall.
In game two, TLU fell behind 4-2 in the first inning. The Bulldogs rebounded two scored three runs in the second, two more in the third, and a run in the fifth.

Brandalyn Dee homered to left in the third inning.
Sydney Ouellette picked up the win in relief. She moved to 5-2 overall. Ouellette went 6-2/3 innings and struck out five.
TLU and Austin conclude the three-game conference series with a single game at Old Settlers Park on Saturday. First pitch is set for 11 a.m.
