SEGUIN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs will face the East Texas Baptist Tigers in the American Southwest Conference Football playoff game between the No. 2 seeds from the ASC's West and East Divisions.

 

The game will be played Saturday, March 27 in Marshall, Texas at ETBU's Ornelas Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

 

ETBU allows family members of visiting football teams to attend games at Ornelas Stadium. Four tickets per family are allowed. The family members must be on the ASC Pass List at the stadium entrance. If a family member is not on the pass list, that person will not be admitted to the game. Masks must be worn at all times in the stadium. (ETBU Games Admittance Policy)

 

TLU will have pre-game coverage starting at 12:30 p.m. on tlubulldogs.com (webcast) and on AM 1580 KWED (radio and audio-only webcast). All TLU and KWED webcasts are free of charge. TLU, the ASC West runner-up, secured the No. 2 seed with a 3-1 record against fellow ASC West teams. TLU posted wins over Howard Payne, Sul Ross State and McMurry. The Bulldogs' lone loss came in Abilene, Texas against Hardin-Simmons.

 

ETBU was declared the No. 2 seed from the ASC East after a three-way tie was broken. ETBU, Belhaven, and Louisiana College all finished the four-game schedule with 2-2 records. ETBU defeated Southwestern and Belhaven but lost to Louisiana College and Mary Hardin-Baylor.

 

ETBU is the two-seed. Belhaven and LC are the third and fourth seeds, respectively.

 

Mary Hardin-Baylor will travel to Abilene to face Hardin-Simmons for the ASC Championship. The Cru and the Cowboys each went 4-0 in their respective divisions.
