SEGUIN, Texas -- Our Lady of the Lake's Kyleigh Spree-Kolos headed home a goal in the 54th minute to lift the Saints to a 1-0 non-conference victory over Texas Lutheran on Tuesday night.
At TLU's Gustafson Field, Spree-Kolos took a well-placed cross from Stephanea Valles to score the lone goal of the match.
OLLU improved to 5-0 overall. TLU dropped to 0-2.
The Saints out-shot TLU 15-6 overall and held a 5-2 edge in shots on goal. Four different OLLU goalies combined on the shutout.
TLU's Elana Rivera made four saves in goal.
The Bulldogs play a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match this Sunday in Irving, Texas against the University of Dallas. The match is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
