The Bulldogs fought admirably to avoid the sweep in the third set but would ultimately fall 25-22 as the Tigers swept - clinching third place in the conference.
The Bulldogs - a team picked to finish 6th in the preseason poll - conclude the 2021 season with a 19-14 record, going 9-8 in the SCAC to claim fourth place in the conference. The 2021 season brought two regular season award winners in Morris and Respondek, three All-Conference honorees, Morris, Respondek, and Moehrig-Woodard, and capped off by the return to the SCAC Tournament semifinals for the first time since 2017. The Bulldogs will graduate two seniors - Kacie Hall and Hayden Smyers (Needville/Needville). We thank them for all of their contributions to the Texas Lutheran volleyball program.
