SAN ANTONIO -- Abby Holland scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Trinity Tigers to an 82-57 home win Friday night against Texas Lutheran.
At Trinity University, Holland hit eight of her 12 shots and added six rebounds for the Tigers, who improved to 9-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. Trinity is 14-2 overall.
The Bulldogs dropped their second straight and fell to 7-10 overall and 5-5 in the SCAC.
Trinity made 51.6 percent of its total shots and hit 13 three-pointers. The Tigers were 13-for-27 (48.1 percent) from the arc.
TLU went 20-for-54 (37 percent) from the floor and 8-for-24 (33.3 percent) from the three-point line.
TLU turned the ball over 27 times, and Trinity held a 30-18 edge in points-off-turnovers.
The Bulldogs travel to Kerrville, Texas on Saturday for a 6 p.m. contest against Schreiner University.
