SAN ANTONIO -- Trinity defeated Texas Lutheran 4-0 Friday night in San Antonio in a non-conference meeting between the two Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference rivals.
Trinity improved to 3-2 overall. TLU fell to 5-3.
Trinity received goals from Jacob Galan, Jacob Hallenberger, Andrea Codispoti, and Fraser Burns.
Trinity led 2-0 at the half. Galan's goal came in the 10th minute of action.
The Tigers out-shot TLU 22-7 and had an 8-1 advantage in shots on goal.
TLU continues its non-conference schedule with a 3 p.m. Sunday match in Kerrville, Texas against Schreiner University.
