SAN ANTONIO -- Trinity University defeated Texas Lutheran 6-0 in non-conference action among Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference teams Friday at Trinity.
The Tigers improved to 5-1 overall. TLU dropped to 3-2-1.
Trinity picked up goals from Mary Sheridan, Camryn Beall, Kaity Ward, Cassie Bowers, Emma Everts, and Alana Wickham.
Sheridan also assisted on a pair of goals.
Trinity out-shot TLU 35-3 and had a 17-0 edge in shots on goal.
TLU returns to Gustafson Field in Seguin for Sunday's 11 a.m. match with Johnson & Wales (Colo.).
