DENVER -- The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs suffered a 1-0 loss Friday afternoon at Johnson & Wales - Denver.
Katherine Owings delivered the match-winner for JWU-Denver in the 26th minute. She took a pass from the right side that she received in the box from Natasha Martin.
Owings scored from approximately six yards out.
The loss dropped TLU to 6-5-1 overall and to 1-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
JWU-Denver improved to 3-9 overall and to 1-2 in the SCAC.
TLU returns home for next Friday's 5 p.m. match against Schreiner University.
