GEORGETOWN, Texas --
Luis Green scored in the 97th minute of action to give the Texas Lutheran Men's Soccer squad a 6-5 overtime victory on the road against Southwestern on Friday.

The win improved the Bulldogs' record to 6-3-0 on the year and 5-2-0 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Pirates dropped to 6-3-1 after the loss overall and to 4-2-1 in conference.

TLU out shot SU 19-15 and held a slight edge with nine shots on goal to the Pirates' eight.
Freshman forward Green (Monterrey, Mexico/Smithson Valley) recorded a pair of goals along with junior midfielder
Chase Silk (Keller/Timber Creek). Freshmen defender
Kevin Chavez (Dallas/Pine Manor College) and junior forward
Guillermo Guerra (San Antonio/Brennan) each collected a goal.
Assists also went to
Braulio Adam (San Antonio/Lee) and
Lance Radtke (Cedar Park/Cedar Park).
Green was the team leader in shots, throwing four towards the goal with three being on target. Guerra was right behind Green with three shots.
Brendan Soto (Georgetown/East View)made three saves in goal for TLU in 96:02 minutes of action.

Next up, the Bulldogs continue conference play Tuesday as they head to Kerrville, Texas to face the Schreiner Mountaineers. TLU and Schreiner will kick off at 2 p.m.
