KERRVILLE, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran Men's Soccer team's suffered a 3-2 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference road loss Tuesday afternoon to Schreiner University.
The Mountaineers moved to 3-8-2 overall and to 2-6-2 in conference.
The Bulldogs dropped to 5-4 overall and to 4-3 in the SCAC.Â
Trey Brittenum and Rodrigo Navarrete scored for the Mountaineers. Brittenum scored at the 15:23 mark, and Navarrete scored goals in the 22nd and 49th minutes of play.Â
Brittenum and Daniel Banda registered the assists for SU.Â
Luis Green and
Braulio Adam recorded goals for the Bulldogs. Green's goal was unassisted, while
Guillermo Guerra delivered the assist on Adam's goal.
Evenly matched throughout the game, TLU and SU came away with 15 total shots and seven shots on goal, respectively.Â

Brendan Soto registered four saves for the Bulldogs.Â
TLU continues conference action Friday with a home match against the Mountaineers. Match time is set for 5 p.m. at TLU's Gustafson Field.
