SEGUIN, Texas -- In a rematch of the 2017 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championship title match, the Trinity Tigers notched a 6-0 SCAC road victory Wednesday night over Texas Lutheran.
At TLU's Gustafson Field, Trinity's Halleanne Dure started the scoring just 25 seconds into the match. She added two more goals in the match.
Dure's hat trick included the goal in the first minute, a goal in the 33rd, and a goal in the 61st.
Kaity Ward assisted on all three of Dure's goals.
Trinity also picked up goals from Hannah Lane (38'), Kristen Canepa (43') and Nina Zapalac (81').
Trinity out-shot TLU 30-3 and led in shots on goal 21-2.
The Bulldogs return to SCAC action this Sunday with its first-ever meeting against new SCAC member Johnson & Wales (Colo.). The match is set for a 2 p.m. (MDT) in Denver.
