Jacob Kouremetis hit a pair of three-pointers in the final minute, including the game-winner with 14 seconds to play, to lift the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs to a 79-77 home win Monday against Concordia Texas.
 
TLU (3-3) erased a four-point CTX lead with less than 90 seconds to play.
Concordia (2-6) took its last lead, at 77-76, with 40 seconds remaining on a free throw from Ronnie Hamilton.
 
Kouremetis (San Antonio/O'Connor) hit six of his 12 three-point attempts for the game and finished with a game-high 22 points. He added three rebounds.
 
The lead changed 21 times between the Bulldogs and the Tornados.
TLU had a seven-point lead in the second half, and CTX had its largest lead, six, in the second half.
 
Sebastian Andrade (El Paso/Americas) chipped in 16 points. He made four three-pointers. Andrade had 11 in the second half.
 
Harris Jowell (Brock/Brock), 
Nathan Josephs (San Antonio/Clark), and 
Alex Cage (Austin/McNeil) each scored 11 for TLU.
 
Jowell and Cage each grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
 
Maluw Deng led CTX with 11 points. Ephraim Price III added 10 points.
 
TLU shot 48.1 percent for the game and made 13 total three-pointers (13-for-31, 41.9 percent).
 
Concordia shot 44.1 percent for the game and went to the free throw line 25 times (making 18).
 
The game was tied at 40 at the half.
 
Next, the Bulldogs travel to Belton, Texas on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. contest against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
