SEGUIN, Texas -- Austin College's Xander Spurlock scored in the 20th minute and delivered a 1-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory Friday for the Kangaroos against Texas Lutheran. 

Spurlock scored at the 20:56 mark of the match. The goal was unassisted. 

TLU fell to 9-7 overall and to 8-6 in the SCAC. The Bulldogs currently hold fourth place in race for conference.

The 'Roos improved to 7-5-2 overall and to 6-5-1 in the SCAC. AC is placed sixth in conference. 

The Bulldogs held a 12-10 advantage in total shots, and had a 7-5 edge in shots on goal. 

TLU finishes up regular season play this Sunday against University of Dallas. The Bulldogs will host the Crusaders for a 12 p.m. matchup at Gustafson Field. Live stats and video will be available at tlubulldogs.com.
