COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- The Colorado College Tigers used a 38-22 edge in the paint to post an 84-77 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference home victory Sunday against the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs.

CC improved to 7-11 overall and 4-3 in conference. TLU dropped to 6-11 overall and 2-4 in SCAC play.

In the Tiger's Reid Arena, TLU roared back from a 12-point deficit in the third quarter and tied the Tigers on two occasions late.

A Cami Davis (Marion/Marion/UT-Tyler) fast-break lay-up put the Bulldogs within two points, 79-77, with 1:11 left on the clock.

Dominique Campos (Alexander/Laredo) and Davis paced the Bulldogs with 23 points each. Campos added six assists and a steal. Davis pulled down four rebounds, had four assists and made to steals.

Presley Stephens (Crandall/Crandall) added 10 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks for TLU. Abby Hroch (Calhoun/Port Lavaca) contributed six points to go along with two blocks, three rebounds and two assists. 

Nia Duplain grabbed 11 rebounds for the Tigers. CC out rebounded TLU 41-27.

Casey Torbet led CC with 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Jade Odom and Evan Underbrink each scored 16. Odom added four steals for the Tigers.
