SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Men's Basketball seniors Sterling Holmes, Zach Behr and Jordan Kouremetis received All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors, the conference office announced Saturday at the SCAC Championships.

Holmes, TLU's senior point guard, was named to the All-SCAC First Team for a second straight year. Behr and Kouremetis picked up spots on the All-SCAC Second and Third Teams, respectively.

Behr collected his first All-SCAC honor, and Kouremetis grabbed the third of his career.

Holmes, Behr and Kouremetis have guided TLU to two SCAC regular-season championships, two SCAC Tournament titles and two NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championships (first round appearances in 2015 and 2016).

Holmes has started three seasons for TLU and has been named the SCAC Player of the Year (2016), SCAC Tournament Most Valuable Player (2016), and the SCAC Co-Newcomer of the Year (2015). This year, he leads TLU in scoring (16.5 ppg) and rebounding (5.5). He also has 61 assists and 21 steals. He is shooting 45.9 percent from the floor, 77.2Â percent at the free throw line, and 38.7 percent from the arc.

Holmes is the 24th all-time leading scorer at TLU, even though he has played only three seasons after transferring to TLU for his sophomore season. Holmes has scored 1,175 points entering action Saturday.

Holmes has been named an SCAC Character and Community honoree, and he is a national nominee for the Jostens Trophy - given to NCAA DIII's best player.

Behr is a three-year letter-winner after transferring to TLU at the start of his sophomore season. Behr is posting career-bests for scoring (16.4), rebounding (5.2) and field goal percentage (.470). He has made 40 three-pointers and dished out a team-best 64 assists.

Kouremetis has lettered four seasons at TLU, and he is the No. 10 all-time leading scorer for the Bulldogs. After 23 points in the Friday quarterfinal win over Centenary, Kouremetis moved past Craig Saunders for 10th on the scoring list.

Kouremetis has been named the SCAC Tournament MVP (2014) and has been selected to the All-SCAC First Team (2014) and All-SCAC Second Team (2015).
