GEORGETOWN, Texas-- The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs Men's Soccer team fell 2-1 in double overtime to the Southwestern Pirates Friday evening in Georgetown, Texas. 

TLU drops to 5-10-3 overall and 4-8-2 in SCAC play, clinching the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament. 

SU advances to a 5-10-3 overall mark and 3-8-3 in conference, clinching the final spot in the SCAC tournament. 

David Ching, a senior, led the Bulldogs in shots totaling nine, with five shots on goal. Brice Collier followed tallying four total shots, making two on goal. 

Keeper Brendan Soto contributed 10 saves for TLU squad in the 109:59 minutes of play. Ryan Benner for the Pirates collected eight saves, posting one save in the match. 

The Bulldogs head to the SCAC Tournament on Friday in Shreveport, La. Post-season playoff times is still to be determined.
