TLU Women's soccer falls 5-0 to Trinity


SAN ANTONIO, Texas-- Texas Lutheran Women's Soccer dropped a 5-0 loss to Trinity University in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action Friday night at McGinlay Field.

Trinity opened scoring off a goalie error from TLU. Julia Camp, Julia Kelly, Katie Peth, and Emily Welp registered the goals for the Tigers, who improved to 12-1-0  overall and to 8-0-0 in the SCAC.

TLU dropped to 5-7-1 overall and 5-3-1 in the SCAC.

The Tigers scored two goals in the first half and three more in the second. Trinity out-shot TLU 33-1.

The Bulldogs return to action on Sunday with a road contest in Kerrville, Texas against Schreiner. Kick off is set for 1 p.m.
