SAN ANTONIO, Texas-- The Bulldogs Men's Soccer team fell 4-1 to the Trinity Tigers in Friday night Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action at McGinlay Field. 

Texas Lutheran dropped to 4-8-2 overall and 3-6-1 in SCAC. Trinity moves to 13-1-0 for an overall mark and 9-1-0 in conference. 

TLU kicked off scoring for the match in in the first five minutes of play with a goal from Alejandro Martinez. The shot was assisted but David Ching. 

Austin Michaelis for the Tigers reciprocated in the 29th minute off a double assist from Christian Sakshaug and Jacob Hallenberger. Rodrigo Castillo added an unassisted goal at 34:13 for TU, leading the Bulldogs 2-1 heading into the half. 

Michaelis and Brady Johnston registered two more goals for Trinity in the second half. 

Goal keeper Brendan Soto allowed four goals and made five saves for the Bulldogs in the 90 minutes of play. 

The Bulldogs were guilty of 12 fouls in the match and received two yellow cards in the second half.

TLU heads to Kerrville, Texas for their next match up against Schreiner University. Game time is set for 3 p.m. following the women's match.
