SEGUIN, Texas -- Colorado College improved to 5-1-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 1-0 road win Sunday afternoon over Texas Lutheran.
At TLU's Gustafson Field, Jackson Silverstein scored the match-winner with a shot in the 82nd minute. Silverstein took a fee from Keenan Amer and found the far right corner of the net from about 12 yards out.
The Tigers moved to 7-2-2 overall with the conference victory.
TLU dropped to 2-7-2 overall with the loss. The Bulldogs now stand at 1-5-1 in the SCAC.
TLU put four shots on goal, but CC keeper Theo Hooker turned away all four.

Brendan Soto made seven saves in goal.
CC held a 16-12 lead in shots and had an 8-4 edge in shots on goal.
TLU hosts matches next Friday and Sunday as part of the Bulldogs' Homecoming weekend. The Bulldogs host Centenary (La.) at 7 p.m. Friday and Austin College at 2 p.m. Sunday.
