SHERMAN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Volleyball completed the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Divisional Tournament in Sherman, Texas with a 1-1 mark on Sunday. The Bulldogs fell to No. 3-ranked Colorado College 25-15, 15-25, 25-22, 25-15 and defeated Centenary College (La.) 25-18, 25-16, 25-21.
TLU moved its overall record to 8-7 and its conference mark to 2-5.
In the loss to Colorado College,
Mackenzie Zamarripa led the Bulldogs with 18 kills and five blocks.
Kristin Fording added 15 kills, and
Makenzie Griffin contributed six kills and four blocks.
Jaci Chambers and
Kaci Pecht dished out 19 and 13 assists, respectively. Chamber also collected 25 digs.
In the win over Centenary, Fording and Zamarripa had 11 and nine kills, respectively. Griffin registered seven kills and four blocks.
Chambers and Pecht had 15 and 10 assists, respectively.
Mathis Popelsky added 17 digs.
