LONGVIEW, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Soccer opened its 2016 season with a 2-1 road loss to the LeTourneau YellowJackets.

Thursday in Longview, the Bulldogs took a quick 1-0 lead with a goal in the 17th minute from Jessica Coronado off an assist from Aubrie Wells.

LeTourneau answered with goals in the 41st and 63rd minutes to pull out the non-conference victory.

LeTourneau held a 13-7 lead in total shots and had a 4-2 advantage in shots on goal.
