Denison (Ohio) improves to 5-0 with 6-1 win over Texas Lutheran


SEGUIN, Texas - The Denison Big Red improved to 5-0 with a non-conference 6-1 win Monday over Texas Lutheran.

The Bulldogs dropped to 11-8 overall with the loss at Katt-Isbel Field.

Noah Hahn singled three times, scored twice and drove in a run for Denison. Jake Meegan added two hits and two runs.

Mikey Rivera went six innings for the win. Rivera struck out five and walked one. He scattered five hits.

TLU committed three errors in the first inning that led to three unearned runs.

TLU plays again Tuesday with a non-conference game against Spalding (Ky.). Game time is set for 2 p.m. at Katt-Isbel Field.
