Bulldogs win one, lose one at SCAC divisional play in Kerrville



KERRVILLE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran posted a win and a loss Saturday in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference divisional play at Schreiner University.

TLU started the day with a three-set loss to Austin College - 25-18, 25-23, 25-13.

The Bulldogs ended the day with a three-set win over University of Dallas - 25-18, 25-19, 27-25.

Kristin Fording led TLU in kills in both contests. In the win over Dallas, Fording tallied 20 kills, 19 digs and five blocks. In the loss to Austin, Fording recorded 14 kills and 12 digs.

Jaci Chambers dished out 32 assists in the victory, and Makenzie Griffin posted five blocks in the win.

TLU's overall record now stands at 11-13 overall and 4-8 in the SCAC.

The Bulldogs play top 25-ranked Colorado College and unranked Centenary College on Sunday in Kerrville.
