SEGUIN, Texas -- No. 20 Colorado College erased a 2-0 second-half deficit with four goals in roughly 13 minutes to notch a 4-2 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory Friday night over host Texas Lutheran.
At TLU's Gustafson Field, the Bulldogs led 1-0 after a
Victor Manzaba goal in the 26th minute.
Cameron Townes assisted on the goal.
The Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead in the 54th minute with a
Guillermo Guerra blast, off a feed from
David Ching.
Colorado College started its comeback with a Christian Wulff goal in the 69th minute. Tim Huettel assisted on the goal.
The Tigers tied the match at 2-2 less than three minutes later with a Ben Green goal off a Wulff assist.
Colorado College took the lead for good in the 81st minute with a Huettel goal on a free kick in the 81st minute.
The final goal by the Tigers' came on an own goal, knocked into the TLU net by a Bulldog defender on a CC cross.
Colorado College improved to 11-2-1 overall and to 8-2 in the SCAC.
TLU fell to 3-11 overall and to 3-7 in the SCAC.
Colorado College swept the season series with the Bulldogs. CC won 1-0 in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Sept. 23.
